Procurement Data Analyst, Astec Industries, Inc., Chattanooga, TN. Oversee database information pertaining to all aspects of spend, supplier, and costs for site, group, and global formats. Support strategic initiative of corporate procurement group. Categorize sourcing data. Classify items in corporate data warehouse in relation to site and suppliers. Maintain global standardization and consolidation of supplier database. Collaborate with corporate Data and Analytics team. Support corporate personnel in sourcing by administering and managing sourcing software events. Maintain accurate records of agreements, contracts, and MOUs. Restructure data storage to improve on efficiency and accuracy. Integrate data with enterprise databases and analytics teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus two (2) years of related work experience in a data analysis role within procurement or logistics.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in the following:
• Utilizing SQL or Python to analyze complex data sets;
• Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities using
statistical analysis and descriptive, predictive and trend analysis;
• Conducting data cleansing, data quality, data restructuring, and data warehouse creation; and
• Utilizing PowerBI and DAX to create and maintain dashboards from multiple data sources such as SQL Server,
Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and CosmosDB.
Must have one (1) year of experience with/in the following:
• Designing web applications using Microsoft Power Apps;
• Applying Microsoft Power Automate for process automation and workflow integration; and
• Creating a global classification of items for use in data warehouses and integration experience using enterprise
databases and analytics.
Up to 50% Domestic and International travel required.
100% Telecommuting permitted.
