Job Summary 

The Salesforce Technical Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, external consultants, and the Oracle team to ensure Salesforce is optimized to meet evolving business needs. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive system enhancements, integrations, and user adoption across departments. 

Responsibilities 

  • Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering 

    • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand business processes and translate them into Salesforce solutions. 

    • Conduct discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture functional requirements and pain points. 

  • Technical Analysis & Solution Design 

    • Analyze and document technical specifications for Salesforce enhancements and integrations, particularly with Oracle ERP and related systems. 

    • Design scalable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and third-party tools. 

    • Partner with external consultants to evaluate and implement best practices for CRM optimization. 

  • System Configuration & Integration 

    • Configure Salesforce workflows, validation rules, and custom objects to support business operations. 

    • Lead integration efforts between Salesforce and Oracle systems, including CPQ, product assignment workflows, and regulatory data flows.  

    • Support the implementation of enhancement ticketing systems and dashboards for cross-functional visibility. 

  • Testing, Deployment & Support 

    • Develop and execute test plans, including UAT, to validate system changes. 

    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users. 

    • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability. 

  • Training & Documentation 

    • Create user guides and training materials to support adoption. 

    • Conduct live and video-based training sessions across business units and regions. 

Key Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce technical roles, including development and administration. 

  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems. 

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, and development lifecycle. 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams. 

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect) preferred.
