Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the regional sales team in developing and implementing sales strategies to surpass corporate volume and profit goals. This role focuses on building and strengthening business relationships, fostering strategic thinking, driving change, and developing a high-performing sales team through continuous coaching and career development support.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •        Responsible for the growth and expansion of direct sales within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  •          Responsible for account and relationship development and management at all levels in the customer organization
  •          Identify selling opportunities across product lines, including lead generation
  •          Identify customer gaps and equate them to sales opportunities
  • Assists in the development of the annual business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of the company's sales goals and profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed corporate volume and profit objectives. Ensure alignment of sales plans with overall corporate goals and objectives. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develops and delivers compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development guidance to sales team members. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
  • Facilitate cross-functional dialog between supply chain, engineering, and accounting and finance to ensure clarity and efficiency in delivering cohesive and effective solutions.
  • Ensures that all Sales Representatives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
  • Sets examples for Sales Representatives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Participates in functional meetings, including production coordination, project management, scheduling, and design capacity
  • Travel to customer locations and other areas as needed.             

QUALIFICATIONS

  •         Minimum of 5-7 years in sales management, preferably within Oil & Gas production.
  • 3+ years of selling products of a technical nature successfully, or customer retention experience, combined with the above
  • Experience with managing other individuals
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and CRM experience.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating integrity, trust, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and sales team members (up to 50% travel with expectations of overnight trips).

Physical Demands: This job is a mostly sedentary role; however, moderate physical activity is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach, carry, pull, lift, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.  Employees are required to have specific vision abilities which include close and distant vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Employees are also required to talk and listen. 

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office/field/shop environment.  The noise level is moderate and in a well-lit area.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Candidates for this role must be located in or near the listed locations. The salary range provided is an estimated range for this position at the time of posting and applies to the potential locations. HULK will extend a competitive offer based on various factors, including geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and performance. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
