The Bartender at Nine & Vine provides warm, attentive service while preparing and serving beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. This role focuses on hospitality over mixology — fostering guest connection, maintaining a clean and inviting bar environment, and supporting the overall success of the resort’s food and beverage experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with state laws and company policies.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and responsibly handle cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, including glassware, taps, and surfaces.
- Restock products and supplies throughout the shift.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for daily service and special events.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, resort events, and guest amenities to answer questions confidently.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum six months of service experience preferred; beer and wine knowledge a plus.
- RBS or TIPS Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment
The work environment is a guest-facing bar area with moderate noise levels and frequent guest interaction.
Rate: $16.60/hour + tips
