Privileged Access Management (PAM) Technical Product Analyst
Role Overview
Join our client's team as a PAM Analyst to help strengthen our security posture through effective privileged access management solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to implement CyberArk controls, manage business requirements, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, use cases, and tools like Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with end users to implement appropriate PAM/JIT controls across our privileged user population
- Maintain exceptions/issues, submit risk assessments, and work with engineers to implement security solutions
- Meet with various teams to develop use cases for onboarding applications into CyberArk
- Partner with stakeholders to develop efficient PAM solutions that streamline access management and reduce administrative overhead
- Support audit requests and prepare evidence packages to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards
- Review and assign vulnerability tickets to minimize potential security risks
- Assist with Agile/SAFe processes and ensure quarterly PAM objectives are met within the Mission Padlock program
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics across the PAM program
Requirements Analysis & Documentation
- Elicit, research, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, and data requirements using various techniques including stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and business process modeling
- Facilitate requirements discussions and present supporting material through alternative views
- Collaborate with vendors on design, development, and delivery of new products and platforms
- Evaluate alternative solutions and processes as necessary
- Identify risks/issues and work with project/product teams to mitigate
- Provide timely communication to all appropriate stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience)
- 8+ years of experience as an IAM Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or related role
- Understanding of identity and access management systems such as CyberArk and Saviynt
- Strong understanding of data schemas to ensure proper integration with IAM tools
- Knowledge and experience applying agile delivery methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Effective planning, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Services industry applications, systems, and standards
- SAFe certifications (Agilist, Product Owner/Manager, Scrum Master, Lean Portfolio Management)
- Industry certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), DevOps, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

- Detailed stakeholder use cases, system requirements, and process flows specific to IAM components
- Documentation of identity lifecycle events including provisioning, authentication, and self-service workflows
Technical Systems Analysis
- Database Schema Analysis Reports evaluating LDAP directory schemas and relational structures
- Optimization recommendations for performance enhancement and structural integrity
Systems Documentation
- IAM Process Flow Diagrams illustrating key workflows, decision points, and exception pathways
- Technical Design Specifications including architecture overviews and system interfaces
- Comprehensive runbooks and deployment guides with step-by-step operational instructions
