POSITION DESCRIPTION
Hanford Tank Waste Operations and Closure, LLC (H2C) requires a Subcontractor to support Procurement Quality Assurance (QA) on Vendor processes. This is an individual release created for the performance of a QA supports for fabrication completion activities to include organization, assembly, and completion verification of fabrication lifecycle documentation. The individual performing the work is subject to controls, processes, and procedures established by H2C. H2C requires two (2) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel for placement at Peterson, Inc. Quality Assurance supports have an estimated utilization for a period of 6 months, with an option for extension, as applicable.
This SOW requires subcontractor(s) to perform, provide, or participate in the QA integration of the Peterson business line, to finalize and expedite QVD completion. The individual shall work with Peterson, Inc. to develop QVD for line inspection by H2C and for final submittal to H2C for the Responsible, Cognizant H2C Engineering Personnel and Quality Assurance Engineers.
Personnel will work to developed Quality Verification Document (QVD) Document Package in accordance with 68914-WRPS-QVDP-00001, Revision 001. Document Verification activities shall include, but not limited to, the following:
- Welding Qualification Verification Reports
- Material Verification Reports
- Major Repair Verification Reports
- Cleaning and Coating Verification Reports
- Heat Treating Reports
- MTR – Material Testing Reports
- Material Certificate of Compliance
- UT – Ultrasonic Examination and Verification Reports
- RT – Radiographic Examination and Verification Reports
- RT Film – Radiographic Film with Technique and Reader Sheet
- MT – Magnetic Particle Examination and Verification Reports
- PT – Liquid Penetrant Examination and Verification Reports
- Pressure Test – Hydro, Air, Leak Bubble or Vacuum Test and Verification Reports
- Inspection and Verification Reports
- Mechanical Test Reports
- Electrical Test Reports
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Project Manager - BA/BS in engineering, science, business or project management with fifteen (15) years demonstrated experience in quality assurance. Provide direction and management for the scope. Experience in quality assurance and oversees technical and administrative activities.
Subject Matter Expert - BA/BS in engineering, science or business management with seven (7) years direct applicable experience in a technical field. Supports and directs daily tasks as required, provides expert opinion regarding engineering and technical issues. Provides independent reviews and assessment as needed in support of project scope and deliverables.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one resource shall be a certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor.
- Ability to obtain a DOE Q-Clearance, as needed.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years prior experience related to receipt inspection or certification as a Level II or III Quality Control Inspector is preferred.
LOCATION
Work will be performed at the vendor facility in Ogden, Utah on a Monday through Thursday basis for a period of 40 hours weekly (4-10 Schedule).
