PartnerCare has partnered with Hueman to find a Physiatrist for their Jaffe Sports Medicine clinic in Naples, FL.

The Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician) plays a key role in PartnerCare’s integrated musculoskeletal and pain care model. This physician will perform EMG/NCV studies, deliver regenerative medicine treatments, collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, and partner closely with our Physical Therapy and Interventional Pain teams to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated approach to patient care. This role also includes helping triage and direct patients appropriately to Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, or continued rehabilitation-based care.

CLINICAL EVALUATION & DIAGNOSIS

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for musculoskeletal, neurologic, functional, and pain-related conditions.
  • Conduct and interpret EMG/NCV studies with accuracy and clinical relevance.
  • Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic imaging or laboratory studies.

TREATMENT & CARE COORDINATION

  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional restoration, pain reduction, and improved quality of life.
  • Provide regenerative medicine treatments where clinically appropriate (e.g., PRP, biologics), following PartnerCare protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with PartnerCare’s Physical Therapy team to coordinate rehabilitation plans and monitor progress.
  • Provide clinical oversight and collaboration for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  • Identify patients who may benefit from Orthopedic Surgery or Interventional Pain Procedures and coordinate referrals accordingly.

PATIENT COMMUNICATION & EDUCATION

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and long-term care goals.
  • Provide clear, empathetic guidance to ensure patient understanding and engagement in their treatment plan.

DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation in the EMR.
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality reviews and peer collaboration as needed.

PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT & COLLABORATION

  • Partner with clinical teammates across disciplines to ensure a cohesive, integrated care model.
  • Participate in practice growth initiatives, community education, and professional development as requested.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
  • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, or Sports Medicine preferred but not required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing and interpreting EMG/NCV studies is required.
  • Experience or strong interest in regenerative medicine preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Active and unrestricted state medical license(s) required.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in musculoskeletal and neurologic medicine.
  • Proficiency in EMG/NCV testing and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of regenerative medicine techniques and evidence-based protocols.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High degree of compassion, patient-centeredness, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems, PACS, and standard medical documentation workflows.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This role is based at a PartnerCare practice location and involves both clinical and procedural work. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring real-time decision-making, interdisciplinary communication, and consistent patient interaction. Some travel or cross-coverage may be required based on practice needs.
