Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

About This Opportunity

Join our team as a Recertification Specialist and play a vital role in managing compliance and resident services for a 150-unit apartment community. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with LIHTC expertise to make a meaningful impact in affordable housing. You'll work in a structured Monday-Friday environment with no weekend requirements, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while supporting our residents and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recertification processes for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state LIHTC regulations and requirements
  • Conduct resident interviews and income verifications
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all resident files
  • Process lease renewals and recertifications in a timely manner
  • Communicate with residents regarding required documentation and deadlines
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate with property management team to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of direct LIHTC recertification experience
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active experience with Senior Housing properties
  • Experience with resident relations and community engagement
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and practices
