Job Overview

Land Intelligence is currently seeking an experienced SaaS Software Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new products and features to enhance our LandSUITETM platform as well as providing technical leadership within the company. The ideal applicant will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative small team and actively engage in the development process. To be a successful Software Architect, you should be an expert problem solver with a strong understanding of the broad range of software technologies and platforms available - and as importantly, possess the curiosity to discover and learn more.


  • Collaborating with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software to support our land development industry users
  • Oversight and approval of all final programs and products before formal launch
  • Creating high-level product specifications, architectural blueprints, and design documents
  • Guiding and assisting internal and outsourced development team members throughout the development process
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design
  • Ensuring software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
  • Evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions


  • We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience designing and implementing SaaS applications who has attained a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other quantitative field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity, and open source technologies
  • Extensive experience in software development and project management
  • Experience developing software using various coding languages including JavaScript, Python, C++, and others
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra
  • Experience overseeing customized development of processes for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
