Job Summary: As the Area Manager, you will have overall operational and administrative responsibility for one of our construction offices in the Augusta, Georgia area. You will take over an existing, established office already up and running fully. You will lead, guide, and direct the telecommunications construction operations of the office and ensure your team is fully-engaged, productive, and efficient.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Provide Technical and Strategic planning & management oversight, ensuring production POR and revenue goals, as well as SLAs, are met.
Direct the construction and activation efforts through a team of Project Coordinators, utilizing in-house crews and subcontractors.
Plan and anticipate challenges in the construction tasks given to us by our customers. Respond proactively to dynamic changes.
Lead, guide, and motivate a technical staff and administrative team.
Manage production, invoicing, and collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General
Strong leadership skills are a must. Ability to manage a diverse and multi-faceted team
Outstanding written and verbal communications both internally and with customers and vendors
Relevant experience in the telecom construction industry including, but not limited to
fiber optic and coax RF networks construction methodologies and performance
Full understanding of Aerial and Underground telecommunications specifications
Knowledge and versatility in Local / DOT / Utility permit regulations and procurement; and
Oversight of warehouse operations
Self-motivated and self-driven
Adherence to all company Safety, HR, and Financial policies
Technical
Fiber Technology (CWDM, DWDM, Muxing)
FR Design and performance over coax (various sizes)
Excel, SmartSheet, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Email
P-2 job issuance, tracking, and invoicing system (will train)
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Qualitative and Quantitative analysis via Excel spreadsheets
Ability to provide training in the pertinent disciplines related to the project (RF / Fiber)
