Founded in 2003, HHS Construction is a leading provider of infrastructure services to major telecommunications and cable providers primarily in Southern California, and adjacent geographies. HHS Construction’s core capabilities include aerial, underground and substructure self-perform construction; ISP services; wireless services including Small Cell/CRAN installation, utility coordination, turn-key RF testing and maintenance; telecom engineering; placement and splicing of copper, coaxial and fiber optic cables; and pole maintenance. HHS Construction is headquartered in Ontario, California.

Job Summary:
HHS Construction, LLC, is seeking an In-House Recruiter for construction related positions in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Arizona.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Identifies current and future hiring needs
  • Advertises job openings online and through industry network connections
  • Travels periodically, prepares for, and attends Job-fairs, Trade School career placement events, etc.
  • Pre-screens potential candidates
  • Coordinates interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Works closely with Internal Safety Division to structure/track training and apprenticeship programs
  • Tracks down potential equipment for purchase
  • Meets with and onboards new material suppliers, especially in new markets
  • Meets with and onboards new subcontractors, especially in new markets
  • Researches and finds potential yard and office locations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General
  • Work experience in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates
  • Prior experience recruiting for construction, specifically: aerial, underground/civil, telecommunications, wireless, structured cabling, electrical, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ability to balance a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing demands
Technical
  • Proficiency is MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bilingual, preferred
  • HR background preferred, but not mandatory
