Full-Time- 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $45.60 - $72.95 (actual offer rates are based upon the applicants relevant job experience and the requirements of the position)
The Radiology Manager supervises all day-to-day operations for a 24-hour, multi-modality Radiology department, ensuring appropriate staffing, productivity standards, high quality service, and high patient satisfaction through collaboration with Labor, nursing and physicians.
The Radiology Manager:- Assume responsibility and accountability for the oversight of day-to-day operations of the department.
- Manages staff, clinical orientations, education, competencies, quality improvement, staff meetings and communication as well as annual performance evaluations. Establishes, role-models, and upholds the standards of practice and expectations for the staff, monitoring performance, behaviors, competency, and conducts performance reviews. Set objectives and goals for skill development of the clinical team.
- Identifies and monitors resources necessary for safe delivery of patient care to include labor, equipment, and facilities in the department.
- Establishes and maintains an effective quality control, quality improvement, preventative maintenance and safety program. Monitors all exams done to insure that proper completion and final reporting is correct.
- Acts as liaison between radiology administration and medical staff; Assists the staff in establishing and maintaining positive, constructive communication in a collaborative model between other units/departments within HUH when solving issues.
- Develops budget(s) for the department and allocates funds within budget(s) to accomplish objectives. Monitors variance against budget(s).
- Covers patient care issues in cases of emergencies or urgent departmental needs for other modalities.
- Orientates new technical staff to department policies, procedures and protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with providers, patients and staff.
- Expert knowledge of nursing principles, practices and skills, as well as performance improvement principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to function independently.
- Demonstrated experience in using good judgment in working with diverse populations.

- Graduate from a school of Radiology Technology or a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or Health Sciences
- Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in the radiology field
- Three (3) years’ experience in a lead technologist or supervisory role and/or managing a radiology department
- Must possess proof of registry with The American Registry of Radiology Technology and/or, a license that is applicable with legal regulatory requirements and hospital policy. Advanced registry is desirable.
