Quality Lab Coordinator- $1000 HIRING BONUS

Our Lysander facility is looking for a coordinator for the Quality Assurance Lab. The coordinator will be responsible for food safety, reporting, and overall knowledge of the lab and lab procedures. Our Quality Lab Coordinator will report directly to the Food Safety and Quality Manager.

1st shift position: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Quality Lab Coordinator Qualifications:
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or applicable field or equivalent experience.
  • Computer Skills, including a working knowledge of Windows systems, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Communication Skills, both oral and written
  • Overtime and weekend work are required as needed.
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all required product testing is complete in a timely manner.
  • Keep inventory and help to order supplies.
  • Support in accomplishing product trending analysis.
  • Process Control
    • Review previous day products at the daily tasting session.
    • Participate in the investigation of non-conforming products.
    • Perform daily and weekly document reviews.
  • Reporting of Data
    • Oversee all Certificate of Analysis.
    • Ensure that the computer data system is maintained in a timely manner.
    • Maintain proper documentation and paper flow.
    • Perform weekly and monthly quality reports,
  • Communicating with customers and internal company partners
  • Ensures all GMP’s, HAACP’s, good housekeeping, and safety rules & regulations are being maintained and followed.
  • Training quality procedures and SOP’s for specified departments to be performed by the department Supervisor.
  • Training and development of the other associates/team members in the departments.
