Performs general facility maintenance through installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, physical structures and electrical systems.
Completes work orders as assigned and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
Completes vacant unit repairs in a timely manner.
Prepares walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
Responds to employee and resident requests in a courteous and timely fashion.
Conducts equipment maintenance, testing, cleaning machinery and reporting any equipment malfunctions, repairs or replaces defective items and maintains operational logs.
Assists in maintaining the appearance of buildings and grounds.
Follows all safety procedures and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
