Job Summary:
Functional testing, troubleshooting and calibration of production assemblies. Responsible for training and supervision of test personnel. Assist test personnel with complex diagnostics of production assemblies. Maintain test schedule to meet shipping schedule. Prepare functional test quotations of production assemblies. Design, develop and troubleshoot functional test fixtures. Perform DFT reviews. Advise on equipment update and new purchases.
Essential Funcations:Performs functional testing using written test procedures provided by Engineering and/or the customer. Performs calibration of customer assemblies and/or EIT’s proprietary products. Performs diagnostic and/or troubleshooting on assemblies that do not pass tests. Supervise and train test personnel and support test personnel with diagnostic help. Prepare test quotations Write and/or update test procedures Interface with customer technical contacts to resolve test issues. Design and develop functional test fixtures. Design and perform testability reviews.
Educational Requirement:BSEE (preferred) or Associate of Science (AS)degree in electronics or computer engineering fields with extensive electronic test experience OR 5 plus years work experience in product testing and diagnostic, electronic design, and development.
Experience Requirement:Detailed knowledge of analog and digital components and circuits, detailed knowledge of circuits analysis and operations. Advanced computer skills and use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, signal generators, spectrum and network analyzer and telecomm test equipment. Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO processes. Must be able to read and write and speak fluent English.
