We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator in Cary, NC (in-office) to work with our teams to develop cost estimates by reviewing design documents including drawings, narratives, specifications, cut sheets, and scope of work. They will perform takeoffs to produce accurate quality surveys, collaborate with project managers and design team members to ensure all information and concepts are incorporated into estimates and prepare project schedules as required to develop general conditions.
A successful candidate will have at least 3 years of construction estimating experience, excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. They will have familiarity with various formats including Uniformat, MasterFormat, and the ability to "fill the gaps" for information missing or what would be required assuming a complete design of the project.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or Architecture or related field with construction/design work experience.
Computer skills: OnScreen Take-Off, SAGE, and MS. Office Suite

Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000
