Job responsibilities
Technology Operations
Provide a wide variety of hands-on day-to-day operational support to various applications that is used by Security Governance & Risk Division. Activities may include:
o Developing and managing SG&R Applications/Data Assets Inventory
o Implementing and managing SG&R User Access and Provisioning process and related ongoing user audits
o Administering and reporting on all operational risks and issues related to SG&R Applications/ Data Assets to SG&R leadership and teams
o Develop and implementing IT/Data controls over SG&R Applications/Data Assets and perform assigned Data Stewardship roles
o Develop instructions and guidance documents to support effective user experience and adoption of corporate Applications/Tools
o Act as an administrator/operations manager for SG&R owned SharePoint sites and partner effectively with Navy Federal SharePoint Team to ensure site availability, integrity, and accessibility by users

Systems and Data Analysis
  • Act as a Systems/Data Analyst to perform assigned baseline and ad hoc system/data analysis tasks.

Activities may include:
o Gathering system/data requirements from SG&R leadership and user community
o Writing simple SQL queries or use your excel skills to perform ad hoc data analysis
o Developing dashboards / Business Intelligence reports using PowerBI
o Developing and executing DAX queries and data modeling tasks in Power BI

Program/Process Management:
  • Support adoption and implementation of Agile Practices and automation of baseline IT processes, where applicable

Required Experience
At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a general IT Analyst/Manager that include the following:
 Providing operational support to IT and Data Applications in an Agile Setting
 General data analysis skills using SQL and Advanced Excel (e.g., Lookup Function, Pivots, VBA)
 Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes
 Exposure to SharePoint and/or other collaboration tools
 Experience in developing Office solutions leveraging native office integrations and inter- operability capabilities

Preferred Skills
 Strong Microsoft Data Products/Platforms Operations skills (both on-prem and cloud-based products)
 Demonstrated project experience or interest in developing/administering solutions in SharePoint and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power BI)
 Hands of experience in Power BI and DAX scripting language is a plus
 Knowledge in at least one scripting language (R, Python, SAS JMP, VBA) is a plus
 Experience in implementing Data Quality Controls and understanding of Data Governance Concepts is a plus
 Strong understanding of Agile approaches and practices
 Willingness to learn modern technologies/tools and passion for a career in technology field
 Delivery focused collaborator with an Agile mindset
 Keen sense of ownership and business accountability
 Working experience in a project-based/consulting type work environment is a plus
