HHS Construction, LLC, a Congruex Company Founded in 2003, HHS Construction is a leading provider of infrastructure services to major telecommunications and cable providers, primarily in Southern California and adjacent geographies. HHS Construction’s core capabilities include aerial, underground, and substructure self-perform construction; ISP services; wireless services including Small Cell/CRAN installation, utility coordination, turn-key RF testing and maintenance; telecom engineering; placement and splicing of copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cables; and pole maintenance. Job Summary: HHS is currently searching for a Runner to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have basic skills and the ability to pass DMV, Criminal and Drug Screening. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Work as a part of a crew.
Assist crew with materials and tools.
Deliver parts to crew in the field.
Pick up materials needed for the fulfillment of daily projects
Deliver and make runs for crew, as directed
Maintain the cleanliness of the yard/warehouse; all items should be cleared daily
Clean up any oil spills, drips and any slipping hazards immediately
Drive company truck/car depending on task
Wash and clean company trucks
Keep inventory of tools and materials
Drive to different job sites and yards delivering fuel and supplies
Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.
Must have a valid driver license
Forklift Experience - Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and 100 lbs. with assistance when required
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
