SUMMARY:
Mission Critical Partners has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will work on our Software Implementation Services Team and will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
- Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
- Collaborate with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology
- Determine how changes to the project will affect the business and systems
- Provide recommendations regarding the evolution of the system
- Respond to inquiries and provide advice to the client regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs
- Negotiate plans and timeframes, ensuring that clients understand the anticipated result
- Develop and communicate detailed specifications for implementation
- Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, investors, and other relevant parties
- Maintain and ensure proper documentation and coordinate or performs testing of system modifications
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the needs of the client have been met
- Research and analyze the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties
- Satisfy data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other user requests from existing client databases
- Act as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems
- Maintain current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required
- At least 5 years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
- State Government Experience
- High proficiency with SQL language and database management
- Proven analytical abilities
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
- Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management
- Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions
- Extensive experience with data visualization
- Highly proficient technical writing capabilities
