Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead, you will provide your subject matter expertise in the implementation of NG-911 transition projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead project teams in design and development tasks. Manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion within budgetary requirements.
  • Develop project plans, goals, and budgets. Identify resources needed, develop schedules, and measure results to ensure project objectives and requirements are clear.
  • Drive problem investigation and resolution as required. Ensure risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that projects are delivered successfully.
  • Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes, agreed outages, etc.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
  • 5+ years of project management experience and understanding of 911 and PSAP operations and call-handling equipment.  
  • Working knowledge of technical and operational standards that apply to Next Generation 911.
  • Documented work experience in the assessment, design, implementation, and management of technologies and communications systems.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities with experience writing technical reports and presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to include overnight. Valid driver’s license to drive to client locations.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Project Management certification and a bachelor's degree are preferred.
