Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead, you will provide your subject matter expertise in the implementation of NG-911 transition projects. Remote United States TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
Up to 50% onsite at client locations RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead project teams in design and development tasks. Manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion within budgetary requirements.
Develop project plans, goals, and budgets. Identify resources needed, develop schedules, and measure results to ensure project objectives and requirements are clear.
Drive problem investigation and resolution as required. Ensure risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that projects are delivered successfully.
Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
Maintain constant communication with clients keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes, agreed outages, etc.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
5+ years of project management experience and understanding of 911 and PSAP operations and call-handling equipment.
Working knowledge of technical and operational standards that apply to Next Generation 911.
Documented work experience in the assessment, design, implementation, and management of technologies and communications systems.
Exceptional oral and written communication abilities with experience writing technical reports and presentations.
Ability to travel up to 50% to include overnight. Valid driver’s license to drive to client locations.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Project Management certification and a bachelor's degree are preferred.
