Description

Remote opportunity but travel will be required to  interview internal staff. Must be located within 50 miles of Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Dallas, Wilmington, Evansville IN.

We’re looking for a UX Researcher with proven experience executing qualitative and quantitative UX research studies for digital products. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to plan research, conduct studies, and present insights that drive customer-centered experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX and Product leaders to plan research using diverse methodologies, conduct studies, and synthesize findings into actionable insights that drive product and design decisions.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors and promote a customer-centric product mindset amongst partners.

  • Seek out digital experience metrics to uncover opportunity and inform design strategy and optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align research activities with strategy and business impact.

  • Promote best practices for user research and advance team capabilities.

  • Continuously cultivate topics for future research from product teams

Skill/Experience/Education

  • Mandatory Skills5+ years’ experience in UX Research (qual and quant) for digital products (non-marketing) to plan, conduct, and synthesize research and report insights.

  • Flexible and creative approach to research, with expertise in selecting and executing appropriate methods including user interviews, usability testing, ethnographic studies, participatory design, surveys, and more.

  • Strong knowledge of best practices in research, human-centered design, and design thinking.

  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present findings and collaborate with a wide variety of product stakeholders. Ability to adapt and excel in a rapidly transforming environment.

  • Experience with ethnographic field studies and availability to travel to sites.


Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience with Financial Services / FinTech. Successful record of working in a complex Enterprise organization.
