The McDonough plant is one of the first of many plants for Nexus and will be exponentially increasing capacity over the next 12 months.  
 
Role Overview 
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner for our McDonough plant, among many to come. Our scheduler oversees and organizes information to increase the efficiency of Nexus Circular’s projects. They also compile reports on factors related to projects in order to assist in the decision-making process and could also review processes to ensure each production part transitions well. 
 
This role reports to Nexus Circular’s Manager of Lean Engineering and Projects in Atlanta, GA. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Analyzes production specifications and construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and labor requirements for the schedule. 
  • Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements for lean assembly and manufacturing. 
  • Plan and coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule, Support purchasing. 
  • Utilize ERP system to auto‐generate manufacturing work orders. 
  • Build and support lean assembly plans.  
  • Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages   
  • Notify Lean Engineering Manager of any schedule impacts to customers. 
  • Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved. 
  • Completes status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory. 
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. 
  • Performs other duties as required. 
  • Potential to travel to other Nexus locations as required. 
 
 
Requirements: 
  • BS Degree from an accredited university, or the equivalent work experience.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience  
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems 
 
 
Knowledge, skills, and abilities 
  • Production and Processing – knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 
  • Ability to interact well with internal and external customers. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.   
  • In‐depth knowledge of ERP systems.

Jodie brings over 30 years of manufacturing leadership experience, having built and led 5 companies as CEO/President and 3 of those companies with an ESG focus.

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
