Job Summary:
The Project Manager maintains primary contact with the owners’ representatives and generates, plans, directs, and coordinates day-to-day operations, usually through communication with other Managers, Coordinators, Field Supervisors, Foremen, or Subcontractors. They develop a process for resourcing, monitoring, controlling, completion, and invoicing of ongoing and potential projects to ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget and within the terms and conditions of client contracts. The Project manager maximizes a projects profitability by utilizing resources cost effectively.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):-
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications to ensure projects are run effectively and efficiently.

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

Must have excellent organization and planning skills.

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

Monitor progress and adjust as needed.

Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

Manage internal, external, and cross-functional teams.

Interpret and explain project plans and contract terms to staff and clients.

Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

Track project costs to meet budget, responsible for P&L.

Ensure all daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and production reporting is submitted, tracked, and verified daily.

Work with Contract Administrator/Finance Controller and General Manager to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest.

Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Manage relationship with clients and communicate expected deliverables.

Order and maintain supplies and materials to complete each project.

Process invoices for project related work.

Lead and maintain a safe work environment.
-
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General:-
Working knowledge of telecommunications industry both aerial and underground construction.

Must have 5+ years in construction management.

Demonstrated Project Management experience (PMP or Equivalent Training Preferred).

Demonstrated computer knowledge to include but not be limited to Microsoft Office, Team, etc.

Teamwork Orientation.
-
Demonstrated leadership skills.
-
Ability to effectively communicate with employees and senior leadership.
-
Ability to travel.
Technical:-
Previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications.

Experience in working with conduit, fiber, manhole and hand hole placement.

Experience with Project Management, Scheduling, and financial software applications such as Microsoft Project, Site Tracker, On-Line Ticketing, and payment Portals
Desired Skills and Qualifications:-
Valid CDL Class A License highly preferred.
