Your New Job

Job Summary:
As a Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing project schedules for telecommunication construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate and communicate schedule updates, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed project schedules for telecommunication construction projects using industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on project schedules and performance for senior management and project teams.
  • Schedule Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize project schedules to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and resource utilization.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation plans to address delays or disruptions in project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate schedule updates and progress reports to project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and management teams.
  • Change Management: Assess the impact of change orders and scope revisions on project schedules and collaborate with project teams to implement necessary adjustments.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that project schedules adhere to industry standards and best practices, and that all construction activities are planned in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, including milestones, critical paths, and historical data for future reference.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the schedule, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General

  • Proven experience as a scheduler in the telecommunication construction industry or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of construction methodologies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
    Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry Is a plus, but not required
  • Understanding knowledge of Critical Path
  • Proficiency with Power BI
