Job Summary:
Our operating unit provides telecom construction services, and we are looking for an experienced Lineman to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:- Installing, maintaining, operating, and repairing overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines.
- Position requires operation of a Bucket truck following all safety and traffic regulations (after passing safety course).
- Assisting with pole framing and placement of stands.
- Climbing poles is required.
- Must operate hand and power tools of all types.
- Assisting with installation of guys and anchor.
- All the while ensuring all installation work is done according to quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways
- GRIT values – Guts, Reliability, Innovation, and Teamwork
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass background check; no DUIs or felonies
- Willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends
- Willing to travel on short notice, Southeast region of the US
- Willing to work in inclement weather
- Must not be averse to heights

- Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry
- Current CDL
