CDL Truck Driver, Full Time (2nd shift)
Accupac is hiring a full time CDL Truck Driver to join our 2nd shift team at our Souderton, PA. location.
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for DOT pre trip inspections: Transporting materials between warehouses and maintaining the cleanliness of the truck.
Basic Job Functions:- Perform pre-trip DOT inspection at the start of every shift.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Keep a log of work activities.
- Keep tractor and box truck clean and in good working order.
- Transport materials between warehouses.
- Maintain truck inspection sheet.
- Maintain and report fuel usage.
Essential Functions of the Job:- Movement of components, transfers, raw materials and finished goods to the proper buildings in accordance with production/manufacturing requirements.
- Perform basic warehouse duties when required.
- Report maintenance issues to Supervisor when needed.
- Basic housekeeping of trucks/trailers.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Requirements of the Job:- Knowledge of written and spoken English sufficient for internal communication
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's and communicate their requirements to others
Physical Requirements:- Drive all warehouse equipment.
- Walking/standing on concrete floors up to eight hours each workday.
- Hear/Execute clear speech, in person and over the telephone.
- Bending/Stooping repeatedly.
- Climbing step stools and maintaining balance.
- Lift/Carry items up to 40 pounds.
- Pushing/Pulling items up to 75 pounds.
- Hear phones ring, alarms sound through ambient noise and everyday conversation.
- Color vision.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Travel: yes
Education and/or Experience: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have a CDL Class A License. Must be fork truck certified and have Hazmat/DOT certification.
