Role Overview
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing the administration of a variety of customer facing agreements, as well as vendor/supplier agreements and other complex agreements. This position works closely with a variety of internal teams to support the contract process from start to finish.

This role reports to Nexus Circular’s Sr. Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administration of the review, analysis, proofreading, and redlining of agreements.
  • Ensure the maintenance of contract templates in computer system; update contract templates as needed.
  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for simple contracts.
  • Safeguard the maintenance of contracts database
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with internal clients about contractual issues.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure contractual terms and conditions are acceptable and serve to minimize risk.
  • Work with internal teams to train on proper contract procedures.
  • Ensure all processes are documented and updated regularly.
  • Exercise independent judgment to ensure that the dissemination of information is made to appropriate employees regarding contract status.
  • Provide appropriate reporting to management as needed.
  • Provide contract summaries as requested and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other administrative tasks requested by manager.
  • Embrace and support the Company’s mission and core values.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate office managing contracts or working in the legal field.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Paralegal certification beneficial, not required.

Jodie brings over 30 years of manufacturing leadership experience, having built and led 5 companies as CEO/President and 3 of those companies with an ESG focus.

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
