Accupac is hiring for a full-time Electromechanical Technician to join our Lakewood NJ location. 



Basic Job Functions:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro Mechanic to join our Accupac team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. PLC and robotic background are a plus.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Install, Maintain, and Repair: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and mechanical components, including motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running smoothly and to prevent downtime.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs, and parts inventory, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to identify issues and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in electrical and mechanical systems.

Minimum Requirements of the Job:
  • Proven experience as an Electro Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Vocational training or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard industry tools, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed. Conduct and document calibrations performed on assigned equipment.
  • Follow all applicable SOP’s and cGMP’s, safety guidelines, published regulations and appropriate codes.
  • Work as directed on special projects and assignments dictated by customer and/or schedule requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • This position may require working in various environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, noise, and near heavy machinery. Safety protocols must be strictly followed.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, and to be on call
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to walk/stand on concrete floors for 80 – 90% of day.
  • Able to bend/stoop repeatedly.
  • Able to climb step stools and maintain balance.
  • Able to lift/carry and push/pull items up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to hear phones ring, alarms sound through ambient noise and everyday conversation.
  • Possess peripheral vision.
  • Able to work safely at various heights.
  • Possess the dexterity and strength to use hand tools and shop equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  No

Travel:  Occasional (Project based – to Lakewood Facility & PA Facility)

Education and/or Experience: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Electrical drawings in AutoCAD experience is required. Must have PLC experience and knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC). Must be able to comprehend electrical calculations, possess mechanical aptitude, use a computer, and work with pharmaceutical or health care equipment.
