The Cycle Counter role involves maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts of stock, identifying any inconsistencies, and recording authorized cycle count results in alignment with sound business protocols. The role requires diligent record-keeping to substantiate the counts and the creation of reports that validate the punctuality and comprehensiveness of the counting process.
Our Cycle Counters earn a starting salary of $17.02 - $27.20 per hour, depending on experience.
What You'll Do:- Perform scheduled physical audits of inventory within specific company areas and generate detailed count reports.
- Reconcile outcomes from physical counts with system-generated records.
- Identify underlying reasons for count discrepancies (e.g., unrecorded materials pulled by the line, errors in material transfers, inaccuracies in bill of materials) and proactively engage with other departments to address the issue and prevent future occurrences.
- Input validated cycle count adjustments into the ERP system.
- Analyze count discrepancies independently and propose corrective action plans.
- Play a crucial role in preparing for and executing annual physical inventory audits.
- Compile comprehensive reports on inventory adjustments and other pertinent data as requested by Accounting, Material Planners, Supply Chain, etc.
- Investigate causes of disparities between computerized records and physical counts, such as data input mistakes, errors in EC rules, or worker oversights when removing inventory without documentation.

What We Need from You:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2+ years’ experience in product distribution and warehousing with logistics and supply chain management experience preferred
• Follow and actively support all company policies and procedures, to include a primary emphasis on safe operations
• Wear personal protective equipment as required
• Flexible and adaptable in coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations to meet frequent changing demands for parts on the production line
• Metric knowledge and understanding
