The Technical Analyst position supports the team in developing industry-leading web and mobile solutions to meet our customers' evolving financial needs and provides internal representatives with capabilities to support those needs. The role involves collaboration with business analysts, solution architects, developers, and testers to assess needs and define the technical system requirements for solutions.
Job Description:Collaborates with product ownership to translate business needs into technical system requirements. Leverages available documentation and exercises test versions of applications and APIs to understand existing functionality to inform re-platforming and enhancement opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, data models and analytical results
- Evaluate and define functional requirements for analytics and business intelligence (BI) solutions
- Retrieve, analyze and validate data and test accuracy of reported results
- Identify trends and patterns in business data; create data visualizations to support business decision making
- Collaborate with business units and senior management to conduct needs assessment to support business unit objectives
- Working knowledge of mapping techniques to produce documentation such as; source to target mappings (STTMs) and understanding of data pipelines
- Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, and validating and documenting results.
- Apply and communicate changes and new trends in systems/technology.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutions
Qualifications/Experience:- Experience solving routine or standard administrative, operational, and/or system problems and issues.
- Experience working with and developing Dashboards in PowerBI
- Services-Oriented Architecture / Microservices
- Multi-tier applications (presentation tier/services-processing tier/data management tier)
- Enterprise and vendor API integration
- Core Banking knowledge
- Familiarity with data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling.
- Ability to write SQL queries.
- Problem-solving skills—Works well under pressure and challenges, is a team player, good listener, analytical, creative, approachable, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with various levels of leadership within the organization.
- Conducting complex technical analysis across multiple products
- Work in Agile methodology using Azure DevOps and ADO
- Writing requirements for a system
- Writing mobile and/or web application requirements is a plus.
- Basic research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Writing mobile service and/or web service requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency with API access tools such as Postman and SoapUI is a plus.
The hourly rate range for this position is $70 -$85.Please note that the pay information is a general guideline only. CC Pace consider factors such as (but not limited to) skills, experience, education/certifications, and location when extending an offer.
