The Digital Marketing Manager is an exciting and critical role on the Marketing team that helps lead our brand building and innovation efforts across all digital channels. This person will push the boundaries, seek out new opportunities, and flawlessly execute digital campaigns to drive deeper brand engagement with our consumers. These digital marketing efforts should drive consumer awareness, recognition and preference of the Avocados From Mexico® brand vs. other avocado brands or origins for the ultimate goal of increasing overall value for the brand and product as well as driving consumption with consumers.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing digital strategies and programs and implementing those campaigns and activations across multiple digital channels and platforms (owned and paid). This position requires a positive, energetic, and highly collaborative individual who possesses the ability to cultivate strong working relationships while supporting the executional plans that will enable the achievement of the brand goals. The Digital Marketing Manager will be part of a close-knit, innovative team, and should exhibit an ‘All For One’ mentality to support the Marketing team’s success.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the brand digital strategy across our strategic pillars: Brand, Tentpoles, Health & Wellness, and Education
  • Oversee the execution of all digital marketing campaigns and activations for tentpole programs including Super Bowl, Cinco de Mayo, OND, and Summer, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns for our strategic pillars including Health & Wellness and Education
  • Develop inspiring creative and media briefs for digital campaigns that deliver on the business objectives.
  • Orchestrate the execution of omnichannel digital campaigns across all digital channels and platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms etc.
  • Contribute to building the brand’s organic social content calendar and influencer strategy in partnership with the digital agency.
  • Manage AFM relationship with influencers, content creators and other strategic partners.
  • Monitor all social media platforms to ensure that each one is maintained and reflects the current campaign messaging and performance is aligned with channel goals.
  • Manage the production of digital content in multiple formats for web and lead front-end web development projects for a variety of digital campaigns from briefing to completion.
  • Manage all key stakeholder and USDA approvals for the digital team.
  • Maintain project timelines and budgets and work closely with the creative and media teams to launch digital campaign deliverables on time.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign results extensively and extract actionable insights to improve the performance of our campaigns on an ongoing basis.
  • Deliver future-focused innovative thinking by staying up to date on current and emerging digital trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Manage multiple agencies and tech partners on the execution of multi-areas campaign with common objectives.
  • Participate in the Brand Tentpole Committees as needed as the Marketing team representative.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable, resilient, and resourceful.
  • Energetic, innovative, creative, and flexible.
  • Growth mindset and ongoing learner; exhibits insatiable curiosity and an interest in self-improvement.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%.
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
 
Education/ Experience Requirements
 
  • 6 – 8 years of experience working in top-tier ad agencies and/or client-side brands with at least 5 years of experience in digital marketing required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Marketing or Advertising is a plus.
