Avocados From Mexico is looking to hire a dynamic Associate Omni Shopper Marketing Manager that will help build brand equity, accelerate avocado demand, and transform the avocado category. The Associate Omni Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of best-in-class omni-channel shopper marketing campaigns and account-specific programming. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail and has a thirst for innovation that will help AFM turn the ordinary path-to-purchase to an extraordinary shopper journey to drive conversion and loyalty at both the physical and digital shelves. This includes cross-functional collaboration, shopper digital/social activation support, development of key shopper elements, thematic packaging designs, and post-analysis of promotional programs.
 
Responsibilities

                  Responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following:
 
  • Manage development and execution of national omni-channel Shopper Marketing campaigns and key retail/account-specific programs and initiatives that build brand equity and drive positive business results along the path to purchase
  • Lead activation and implementation of sales/marketing materials (i.e. brochures, sell sheets), in-store signage/displays, trade media ads, digital/social and e-commerce / retail media tactics print & digital coupons redemptions/analysis, consumer sweepstakes, retailer mailers, etc.
  • Partners with the Digital and Media teams to activate digital campaigns that drive engagement & purchase
  • Support manager in new fiscal/annual planning process, presentation development, innovation generation, sharing of best practices, and provide timely follow-ups
  • Partner with Trade Marketing, cross-functional teams and external agencies on creative development and implementation of marketing activations (i.e. displays, signage, coupons, etc.)
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while overseeing on-going timelines/workflow and execution of shopper marketing elements aligned with goals and objectives throughout fiscal year
  • Support day-to-day management of key agency partners and vendors to ensure high quality deliverables
 
 
  • Collaborating with Research & Analytics to conduct post-analysis of program results and translate learnings into actionable recommendations
  • Responsible for budget management/tracking, PO generation and ensure proper reconciliation with Finance
  • Manage team updates for internal and external monthly reporting
  • Supports negotiations and management of partner and vendor contract agreements
  • Performs additional duties or special projects as assigned
 
Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong project management, time management and organization skills with attention to detail (experience with project management platforms and tools such as Monday.com a plus)

  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships
  • Proven ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and data-driven decision making

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong budget management expertise
  • Proficiency in coupon management and knowledge of key vehicles/technologies
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
 
Education/Experience Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's Degree required and in related field preferred (Business, Marketing, Advertising, etc.)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in marketing, shopper marketing, consumer brand marketing, promotion activation and/or project management either with an agency, supplier or client company
  • Experience in CPG or CPG accounts/brands a plus
