Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic Salesforce Administrator. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for planning, testing, implementing, and maintaining our CRM application. This individual will perform the overall management of the system and will provide best practices and recommendations for integration and application development configuration, deployment, and iterative refinement.

This role reports to Nexus Circular’s Strategic Feedstock Sourcing Director and is a hybrid role based at our Atlanta office.

Key Responsibilities:
 System Administration: Act as the primary Salesforce system administrator, overseeing all administrative functions including contract maintenance, user account maintenance, workflows, and more. Customize Salesforce with custom fields, layouts, objects, rules, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Strategic planning and road mapping: Lead strategic planning sessions to identify system improvements or expansions, developing a roadmap for new Salesforce features, functionalities, or integrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization's scale and long-term objectives.
  • Salesforce Team Management: Lead weekly meetings with Salesforce superusers to review project pipeline and roadmap.
  • Salesforce Project Management and Development: Spearhead Salesforce-related projects to enhance business processes and user experience. Gather and prioritize business needs and then develop, test, and implement solutions.
  • Business Integration: Work on cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems that support Nexus' unique business model. Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other business systems, such as ERP software, for optimal data synchronization and system interoperability.
  • Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Build advanced reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that drive market and feedstock developments. This will be a major focus of the role
  • External Service Management: Negotiate Salesforce support agreements and serve as the primary liaison with external support groups to communicate needs and ensure timely resolution of complex issue
  • Data Integrity and Management: Maintain data accuracy through regular audits and cleanups
  • User Support and Training: Provide prompt support to Salesforce users. Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation to boost user adoption and proficiency
  • Emerging Technologies: Identify and integrate emerging technology solutions, including Einstein enhancements, that align with Nexus’ needs or improve operational efficiency in the feedstock process
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree that includes a strong quantitative component (e.g. Math, Statistics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or Economics)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator, with a strong focus on system integrations
  • Excellence in designing and manipulating spreadsheets (ideally MS Excel) and databases
  • Expert proficiency in Salesforce automation tools and integration/middleware tools
Desired Skills:
  •  Advanced certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)
  • Outstanding communication and training capabilities, engaging effectively with all organizational levels
  • Work experience in manufacturing, plastics recycling, or the plastic value chain
  • Experience with API interfaces that connect Salesforce with external systems
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization programs
  • Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to support multiple scopes to deliver results safely, on-time and within budget

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
