OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Vice President, Technology, the Manager, Data Integrity is responsible for database administration, ensuring we maintain data integrity between multiple database systems. This role is charged with recommending and supporting implementation of procedures and techniques to maximize accuracy in Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW)’s data, including collating and verifying data from multiple sources, implementation of data software storage systems and executing data transfers.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Administer the daily responsibilities in relation to HFUW’s Andar database in partnership with the Senior Vice President and Manager of Data Operations.
  • Build strong working relationships cross-departmentally to ensure data hygiene, quality analytics, segmentation, and overall understanding of organizational data management influencing staff to achieve accurate data captures to maintain integrity in reporting and historical analysis.
  • Create procedures and techniques to maximize accuracy in HFUW data and minimize duplication of information by creating new functionality as requested by other departments to assist with processes improvements.
  • Support development of processes to augment relationship management efforts with donors, volunteers, and partner organizations.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, to include information flow and report generation.
  • Manage and participate in ongoing data enhancement projects proactively driving improvements to data governance strategies.
  • Develop solutions to collect, analyze and report project-specific data using a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to MS Excel, and Power BI.
  • Develop timely reports for all organizational departments as requested, including annual organization-wide collection and submission of accurate data to United Way Worldwide, such as the Database II report. 
  • Work with large and varied data sets, from multiple data sources, to conduct analysis, generate concise reporting, and maintain data integrity.
  • Create and generate warehouse and mailing lists to identify like data.
  • Develop processes to augment relationship management efforts with donors, volunteers, and partner organizations.   
  • Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, develops and maintains organizational data policies.
  • Evaluate data privacy risks.
  • Design and implement tracking and reporting solutions for stakeholder measurement and analysis of donor, volunteer, advocacy, and grant recipient activity. 
  • Analyze, compare, prepare, and format data for large data imports and integration between two databases.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, support with staff training on any newly developed departmental processes or procedures.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain concurrent data sources to ensure quality control, including performing regular data clean-ups of all systems to improve data hygiene.
  • Implement and schedule procedures for integrating data between multiple databases ensuring                                    accuracy and precision.
  • Participate as a member of the donor database integrity group to set organization database standards.
  • Provide cross-coverage support to other members of the IT team with coordination and troubleshooting of IT, database, and software systems within the organization.
  • In partnership with the Manager of Data Operations, provide regular and timely help desk support for the e-Pledge online giving and donor database system.
  • Provide support to organizational special events as directed.
  • Contribute to the overall organizational success by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, data analytics, computer science, or a similar field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with a specialized database system required.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred.
  • Strong computer aptitude and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced competency in Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Andar (campaign software) experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop proficiency in new technologies.
  • Proven ability to communicate well with both technical and user staff at all levels.
  • Proficient with frequent use of virtual meeting platforms and electronic communications.
  • Must be able to edit, complete, and assemble spreadsheets and reports.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats.
  • Must have excellent technology skills and aptitude to use technology to solve problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Sound judgment with ability to hold information confidential.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may occasionally include early mornings or evenings.
  • Experience working autonomously without direct supervision in a remote or hybrid setting strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with frequent use of virtual meeting platforms and electronic communications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, occasional lifting of items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, regularly moving throughout the building between floors, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, and computer.  Demands also involve protracted concentration. Job involves frequent and routinely intense public contact.
