 99th MEC Fort Dix-McGuire Joint Base, Lakehurst, NJ

8 to 12 years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance. Has expert knowledge of schematics and repairs, safety testing, and preventive maintenance (PM). Maintains records, writes reports, and coordinates outside repairs. Has expert knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and types of equipment. Adept at learning on the job as well as teaching and mentoring others. Optionally has developed mastery to the level that they can mentor other mentors. 

Salary:       
                            
$ 34.69 $ 38.40 per hour
$ 72,155.20 $ 79,872.00 Annualized

Qualifications:
Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.

As a minimum, BMETs shall be graduates of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course.
Certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET), or have at least earned an Associate’s Degree  (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
A minimum of two years directly related experience.

Work Conditions and Special Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time, the ability to push/pull equipment to and from carts, the ability to kneel, stand, bend, and reach during equipment repair/maintenance.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently as required.
