Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:- Follow the company's Project Management Plan and ensure team compliance.
- Analyze various data sources to plan and design projects.
- Use computer-aided software for engineering and design tasks.
- Calculate costs and assess project feasibility, preparing detailed estimates.
- Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and environmental impact studies.
- Meet with clients to coordinate changes, gather input, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate project activities with officials, staff, subcontractors, and utilities.
- Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and standards.
- Manage project budgets to stay on track and meet company objectives.
- Regularly review project progress and budgets with senior management.
- Attend meetings to provide and receive project information and ensure compliance with local requirements.
- Stay updated on new techniques, materials, codes, regulations, and software, maintaining professional certification.
- Make marketing calls to existing and potential clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Oversees the design work of technicians on assigned projects. This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS) and 5-8 years of related experience/training
- Motivated to have or obtain certificate as a Professional Engineer (PE), licensed in Arkansas, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as needed
- Proficient in reading and interpreting scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Able to respond to customer and regulatory inquiries and write formal documents and articles
- Capable of presenting information effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors
- Strong skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and applying mathematical concepts to practical situations
- Skilled in problem-solving, data collection, establishing facts, and interpreting complex technical instructions
- Proficient in database management, design, internet use, project management, and spreadsheet/word processing software
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Must meet physical demands for job performance, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
Pay Range:
$85,000 - $95,000 annually
