ABOUT THE POSITION
The Project Manager of Business Excellence is responsible for the following enterprise-wide functions:- Project Management of Business Excellence activities
- Creation and management of team and strategic schedule
- Coordination with site GMs and Astec VPs in development of all Business Excellence functions
- Change Management associated with business model, process, and enhancement changes
- Identify essential business reports needed to support strategic business model
- Manage creation and prioritization of essential business reports needed to support strategic business model
DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:- Define team strategy of completing projects and lead project planning sessions
- Coordinate staff and internal resources
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required
- Determine required deadlines and drive completion of tasks associated with these deadlines
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing team documentation
- Design risk mitigation plan
- Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
Business Reporting:- Identify and define key business metrics and reporting requirements.
- Manage development and maintenance of comprehensive business reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize data analytics to support strategic decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Filter new report requirements and use the same reports across Astec.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred with Oracle implementation experience.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Proactive Problem Solver who demonstrates a proactive approach by effectively understanding various scenarios, asking insightful questions, and developing appropriate resolutions.
- Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration and teamwork activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams and senior leadership.
