ABOUT THE POSITION
The Strategic Business Model Development Manager of Business Excellence is responsible for the following enterprise-wide functions:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of OneASTEC Oracle Strategic Business Model across all IS & MS Sites
  • Aid in identification of Middleware Solutions to Facilitate Effective Implementation of Business Model
  • Define data requirements, format, and structure for future site Oracle Readiness Strategy
  • Define End to End Oracle Testing Strategy for Launch



DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creation of Business Model:
  • Assist in development and implementation of innovative corporate business model aligned with the OneASTEC strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to collaboration efforts with Helix GPOs and senior leadership to align business model with overall corporate strategy and goals.
  • Business model to define how Astec will run businesses and be usable for General Managers/Managing Directors to understand what Oracle will deliver.

New Module requirements and evaluation:
  • Aid in identification of any new module requirements to be defined and justified with the business. The intent to be for use across OneASTEC; i.e. Quality Module, Fusion module

Oracle Readiness:
  • Assess the organization’s readiness for Oracle implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Assist in development and execution of a comprehensive Oracle readiness plan, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Testing Design:
  • Oversee the design and execution of testing plans for Oracle system implementations utilizing Helix and Business resources.
  • Ensure end to end testing protocols meet quality standards and are aligned with business objectives.
  • Contribute to collaboration efforts with IT and functional teams to troubleshoot issues and validate testing results.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with Oracle implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
  • Proactive Problem Solver who demonstrates a proactive approach by effectively understanding various scenarios, asking insightful questions, and developing appropriate resolutions.
  • Strong experience with cross-functional collaboration.
