POSITION: Accounts Receivable Relationship Manager
LOCATION: Albany, NY
SUMMARY: Our client, a non-profit organization focused on creating meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Relationship Manager to join their growing finance team! The Accounts Receivable Relationship Manager will build, manage and improve accounts receivable relationships with significant customers. Responsibilities include producing monthly written reports on the status and progress of the accounts to ensure resolving issues efficiently and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and/or finance, strong communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Cultivating and maintaining customer relationships to identify issues and facilitate timely payments
- Collection of outstanding receivable dollars from significant customers, as well as, resolving customer billing issues or problems
- Identifying, maintaining and updating the appropriate contacts on significant customers
- Researching and resolving account and billing discrepancies
- Performing account and payment reconciliations
- Documenting daily activity
- Identifying financial exposure
- Producing monthly analysis and reporting on the customers and their accounts
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in finance or accounting position including corporate collections experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers and other departments
- Proven problem solving, mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume work environment
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse groups of people
- Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
- Must be detail oriented, dependable and efficient
- Proficiency with various computer software applications including computerized accounting systems (Great Plains Dynamics preferred), databases, spreadsheets and word processing (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
- Full Time, 37.5-hours per week, Onsite
- 112.5 hours of PTO available to accrue in the first year!
