Overview:
The Total Rewards Specialist focuses on managing and improving compensation programs while supporting employee benefits administration. This role includes developing compensation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and performing data audits. The Total Rewards Specialist also oversees internal HR systems and provides analytical support for compensation decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
- Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends.
- Provides advice to HR staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Design creative solutions for specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Develops techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data.
- Oversees participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 6+ years of compensation-focused experience.
- Strong expertise in compensation analysis, compliance, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary Range: Starting at $85,000 (negotiable based on experience).
