Position Overview:
We are seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will maintain and repair the property and equipment to ensure maximum machinery and equipment uptime. You will work closely with production, grow team and all other relevant departments to perform essential repairs and preventive maintenance, minimizing disruption to production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe safety protocols and manufacturer instructions when performing maintenance tasks.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on tools, equipment, machines, and buildings, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Document all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks performed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to communicate equipment status, repairs, and improvements.
  • Work with outside contractors during facility projects.
  • Perform minor repairs to building fixtures, plumbing, and electrical systems, and conduct touch-up painting as needed.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repairs, as well as transfer tools and parts to workstations.
  • Adjust, connect, and disconnect wiring, piping, and other parts using hand or power tools.
  • Clean, lubricate, and maintain vehicles, machinery, equipment, and components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Recommend and report building and equipment improvements to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
·  High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a trade apprenticeship or technical training is preferred.
·  2-4 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
·  Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, control systems, and HVAC systems.
·  Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
·  Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS).
·  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
·  Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
·  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and environments both hot and cold.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
