Your New Job


The Position:  Legal Intern
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Creation of a comprehensive document retention policy applicable to the types of documents created and stored by the Company, taking into account various individual state requirements.
  • Review and Maintenance of contracts and documents in Evisort (Contract Management System), including recommendations for standard file naming and storage convention.
  • Assist in the management of damage claims and associated settlement agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive review of corporate entity documents, identify and gather any missing documents and update spreadsheet listing all entities, their domiciles, their dba’s if any, and other locations where each entity is registered to do business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Exceptional initiative, judgment, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Punctual and reliable, with the written and verbal communication skills to complete assignments independently, working quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and professional disposition in a fast-paced industry.
  • Team-oriented personality who enjoys working closely with others

Technical
  • Solid computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prefer candidate seeking a law degree with one or more years of law school or paralegal certification training
