Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced E&I Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical or control systems in a manufacturing environment. These may be related to improving safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and cost.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and Development: Create and implement electrical systems and instrumentation for monitoring and controlling industrial processes
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance andtroubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Project Planning: Plan, schedule, and execute projects related to electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, operations, project managers, and maintenance to ensure project integration into manufacturing systems.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all systems comply with all health and safety regulations. Develop and participate in regular safety assessments for electrical/controls equipment.
• Train others: train operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel on new processes and equipment and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Education and Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an E&I engineer in a manufacturing environment or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, including but not limited to, manufacturing and quality control.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, control systems, and instrumentation design. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing processes.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving operational excellence.
• Willingness and ability to support a 24/7 operation.

Jodie brings over 30 years of manufacturing leadership experience, having built and led 5 companies as CEO/President and 3 of those companies with an ESG focus.

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
