ABOUT THE POSITION 

Seeking a detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative Epicor ERP Junior Analyst to support our manufacturing/operations teams in optimizing processes, solving user issues, and improving data quality within the Epicor ERP environment. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset, basic SQL/reporting skills, and a desire to grow into ERP functional and technical expertise. 

Deliverables Responsibilities 

  • User Support & Troubleshooting  

  • Serve as a first-line resource for Epicor user questions, tickets, and incident triage. 

  • Document issues, resolutions, and knowledge articles; escalate to senior analysts/developers as needed. 

  • Data & Reporting  

  • Build and maintain BAQsDashboards, and SSRS/Report Builder reports. 

  • Use Epicor DMT (Data Management Tool) for data uploads/corrections following governance standards. 

  • Assist in data validation and reconciliation across modules (e.g., Part/Inventory, Orders, Job/MES, AR/AP). 

  • Configuration & Functional Support  

  • Help configure fields, user security, menus, and personalization settings. 

  • Support MRP, Planning, and Scheduling workflows; assist with MES (shop floor) user enablement. 

  • Contribute to testing and documentation for patches, upgrades, and new features. 

  • Process Improvement  

  • Map current processes and identify gaps; suggest changes that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy. 

  • Partner with business teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality) to streamline workflows. 

  • Projects & Training  

  • Participate in enhancements and change requests (requirements, configuration, UAT, release). 

  • Create “how-to” guides and deliver short trainings to users and super-users. 

 

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent, related work experience). 

  • 0-3 years of Epicor / ERP experience 

  • Core Skills:  

  • Basic familiarity with ERP applications (coursework, internship, or hands-on exposure preferred). 

  • Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL. 

  • Experience with Excel (lookups, pivots) and comfort with data cleanup/imports. 

  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to translate user needs into system queries/reports. 

  • Clear written and verbal communication; attentive to detail and documentation. 

  • Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required):  

  • Former Epicor / ERP experience 

  • Experience with BAQsDashboardsBPMsMethod DirectivesDMT. 

  • Exposure to manufacturing modules (Part/Inventory, BOM/Methods, Jobs/MES, Purchasing, Sales, Finance). 

  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SSRS, or other report building tools.

Travel Requirements: <10% travel onsite (as requested by the business)
