Position Summary
Executes normal shipping duties, inventory, and material movement within the Plant. Ensures proper loading, unloading, and movement of equipment, materials, and finished products. Pull and properly package all parts for shipment. Maintain and organize the inventory in the warehouse area by assigning all parts a location on ERP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Handles paperwork, prepares material for shipment.
· Completes all required paperwork and verifies that each item has been approved for shipment.
· Completes all necessary shipping documentation and quality records as required.
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in logistics
Skills/Experience
· Microsoft Office experience (excel and word)
· Must demonstrate PC skills and knowledge of JD Edwards or equivalent Warehouse Management Software.
· Proven experience in related field preferable
Shift
· Training occurs on first shift primarily. Depending on experience level, training occurs over 2-4 week time.
· Ability to support work hours to cover business needs and some weekend overtime.
