ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Business Analyst specializing in Supply Chain Management (SCM) to support and optimize our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and implementing enhancements to improve supply chain processes. This role requires expertise in Oracle SCM modules, including Inventory, Manufacturing, Supply Planning and Demand Management.

The Oracle Business Analyst’s function is to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and document the stated and implicit needs of the business. This role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements to support the migration from legacy systems to Oracle ERP Cloud. This will include developing current and future state data and process maps and identifying technical gaps and remediation plans with the new system. This role will primarily focus on Oracle Cloud.

 

Key Activities & Responsibilities

§  Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand processes, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.

§  Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, guiding teams through complex system and process decisions

§  Simplify technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for stakeholders at all levels.

§  Lead and support testing of system changes, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

§  Translate high-level business requests into detailed requirements and functional specifications.

§  Configure Oracle Cloud applications to support both initial implementation and ongoing process optimization.

§  Assess and manage integration points with other systems, proactively minimizing ripple effects.

§  Provide Tier 2 support, resolving issues with root cause analysis and ensuring long-term stability.

§  Configure Oracle SCM Cloud product to support initial implementation and subsequent process optimization efforts.

§  Understand integration points with other systems that interface with the application, evaluate and minimize ripple effects.

§  Provide Tier 2 level support to end users including managing issue resolution and performing root cause analysis

 

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

§  Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent technical and business experience.

§  Three to five years’ experience as an Oracle Cloud business analyst.

§  Experience with Configure-to-Order, Assemble-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing

§  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.

§  Experience with one or more Oracle Reporting tools including OTBI and BI Reports.

§  Experience at a publicly traded company and SOX compliance is required.

§  Must be highly self-motivated.

§  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.

§  Must be able to solve problems at both a strategic and functional level.

§  Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are required.

§  Must be able to work satisfactorily as a team member.

§  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals is required.

 

Supervisor and Leadership Expectations

Must have expert level experience as an implementer of Oracle’s SAAS/Cloud Applications, specifically for the following functional areas and related modules:

§  Supply Chain Execution - (Work Definition, Work Execution, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Cost Accounting, Receipt Accounting, Supply Orchestration)

§  Supply Planning Cloud - (Supply Planning, Demand Management, Replenishment Planning, Supply Orchestration)

§  Mobile Supply Chain Management - Must have experience implementing and integrating 3rd party mobile software solutions that integrate and leverage RF Device and Bar Code Scanning with Oracle Cloud for handling transactions within the functional areas of Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management, Quality and Maintenance, preferably with RFSMART.
