Sr. Software Quality Assurance Tester
To perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and our client's business practices and policies. Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Assurance Analyst to certify system testing complete & ready for production
- Create and edit test cases in accordance with system requirements
- Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases
- Identify areas for improved testing processes
- Modify, coordinate and schedule input to maintain the test environments
- Report testing activity including time spent, testing time lost and discrepancies found
- Serve as test lead on projects
- Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material
- Full life-cycle project management
- Establish and lead project teams
- Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
- Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
- Risk, Issue and Change management
- Ensure successful project implementation
- Scope of responsibility
- Serve as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or procedures
- May assist with addressing employee inquiries or problem resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in testing complex systems including various platforms
- Advanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), etc.
- Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
