Hours: 8am-6pm, In office 5 days a week
Job Description:
- Maintains a safe, functional, and clean office environment by performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Office Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, lighting, and plumbing, and perform minor repairs on walls, doors, ceilings, and flooring.
- General Repairs: Fix leaky faucets and sinks; replace light bulbs; repair furniture; and manage minor HVAC issues.
- Office Support: Assemble, install, and move office furniture, desk, tables, and whiteboards.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on appliances (microwaves, coffee makers), furniture (tables, desks) and facility systems to prevent equipment failure.
- General Upkeep: Perform painting, minor carpentry, and ensure office spaces are orderly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: General knowledge of painting, electrical, HVAC and routine office maintenance/cleaning.
- Tool Proficiency: Ability to safely use common hand and power tools, cleaning supplies.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and management. Positive attitude required.
- Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance or a related handyman role. Prior professional painting experience is a HUGE plus. Experience with, or interest in, technology (Computers, A/V, etc) also a plus.
Working Conditions
- This is a physically demanding role requiring daily on-site presence, often in a fast-paced office environment.
- May require flexible hours to perform work after hours to minimize office disruption.

The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of $55,000-$65,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary incentive bonus and competitive employee benefits including: medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurance.
