Job Summary
The Account Executive will facilitate the sales of raw material product lines within the CASE & Construction vertical in Turkey and MEA region.
Responsibilities
- Distribution and sales of raw chemicals and ingredients used in paint – cement – concrete – plastic sectors.
- Responsible for sales of key raw material products to existing and newly established customers.
- Develop strong relationships within the customers’ organization (with plant engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, business managers, and senior management).
- Perform routine sales functions such as site visits, preparation and timely submission of technical and commercial proposals, phone and on-site technical service when requested, and practicing a systematic selling process including call reports, sales call planning and pipeline development.
- Report on competitive activity. Frequently update forecasts and CRM of short-term and long-term business potentials.
- Track trends of the market; gather intelligence concerning customers, competitors, and market trends.
- Work with local sales managers on sales as required
- Liaise on a daily base with inbound and outbound logistics and perform local logistics and customer service activities as needed to ensure customers get products on time.
- Together with global product management determine product range, strategies and business priorities by segment
- Expand & grow the business at selective prospects.
- Correspond with customers in a concise, professional manner using appropriate grammar. Write call reports based on interaction with current or potential customers.
Key Qualifications
- A degree in chemistry / chemical engineering / engineering technology or equivalent
- You are driven by your passion, with a high level of ambition, somebody who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you can create your own destiny.
- Several years’ experience in sales & marketing or technical sales within a comparable industry setting.
- Previous experience within similar companies (international chemical/ingredients trading) is a strong plus
- A results-driven, self-starter, customer-focused leader with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness and emotionally intelligent communication skills to communicate, persuade, influence, and handle challenging conversations effectively without formal authority.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills with pronounced business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent networking and collaboration skills within the organization, with external partners and with own team.
- Excellent computer skills, especially MS Office, with knowledge of SAP beneficial.
- Advanced English skills, both verbal and written a must. Other languages (Arabic, French) is a plus
- Proficient user of Microsoft Window Office (Outlook, PP, Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in Sales Force is a strong plus
