About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer, DevOps to lead our cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps initiatives. In this strategic role, you'll shape the technical direction of our line of business, drive operational excellence, and mentor teams in modern cloud practices. You'll have the autonomy to influence critical technical decisions while working with a collaborative team in a primarily remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business, developing cohesive approaches across all projects
  • Identify and implement opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains across infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Assess, design, and secure DevSecOps services and solutions on AWS cloud platforms
  • Champion and evangelize best practices for your area of focus and technology stack across the organization
  • Take ownership of critical technical decisions and guide their implementation with increasing scope and impact
  • Design and provision infrastructure programmatically in AWS using Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM
  • Enable data development teams to deliver new code daily through robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
  • Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure for end-to-end data factory platforms using Terraform and related Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
  • Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Proven experience with Git version control and modern development workflows
  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions
  • Experience managing complex infrastructure at scale

  • Terraform CDK expertise
  • TypeScript proficiency
  • GitHub Actions implementation and optimization
  • Jenkins pipeline development and management
  • Experience with data infrastructure and data factory platforms
  • Track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams
  • Background in DevSecOps and cloud security best practices

Additional Information
